Himalaya Indian Restaurant was established in Newark, DE in September 2006. Krishna, along with his well experienced chefs and servers started the business with a motto, 'LET THE CUSTOMERS TASTE THE REAL HOME STYLE INDIAN FOOD".

Opening a new restaurant in an area which was already been crowded with several other Indian restaurants demanded a differentiation. So, we did distinguish ourselves from others with our cooking techniques. Indian restaurants in this area served dishes which were either too creamy or too spicy, or too dull. We differentiated ourselves and made our dishes as per customer's taste.
